On Pointe Barre & Fitness was founded by Jillian, a true barre pioneer in the Berkshires. As one of the first in the area to become certified in barre instruction, Jillian helped introduce and grow barre throughout the county—sharing her passion for this empowering, low-impact workout and inspiring countless people to fall in love with movement.

In 2021, she opened On Pointe Barre & Fitness, the Berkshires’ first and only barre fitness studio in Pittsfield, MA. Her vision was simple: to create a welcoming, uplifting space where people of all levels could feel strong, confident, and connected through movement, in an environment free of judgement.

Today, OPB is more than a studio—it’s a supportive community. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to providing safe, effective, and motivating fitness & barre classes in Pittsfield designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and achieve lasting results.

What is Barre?
Barre is a low-impact, ballet-inspired workout that uses small, controlled movements, isometric holds, and high repetitions. This helps you develop long, lean, and sculpted muscles while improving your balance, posture, and flexibility. Barre is a great workout for any age of fitness level!

NO! You don't need any ballet or barre experience to be able to do this class. Beginners are always welcome and supported at On Pointe Barre.
