About Us

OPB founder, Jillian, has always had a passion for barre workouts. Noticing that barre classes were scarce in the Berkshires, she took the plunge and became a certified barre instructor in 2017. Over the years, she has shared her love of barre fitness with the community, introducing many people to the workout and its benefits. It was only natural that Jillian began to dream of opening the Berkshires' first and only  barre fitness studio. In 2021, On Pointe Barre & Fitness opened its doors.

Our expert OPB instructors provide you with personalized guidance to give you a safe, effective movement experience and help you get the results you want in your fitness journey.

Jillian is just as passionate about education as she is being a fitness instructor. She is an IBBFA Master Level Barre Instructor, ACE-Certified Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor, Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist, NASM Stretching & Flexibility Coach, and Power Pilates Intermediate Mat instructor among others.

On Pointe Barre & Fitness Studio is an official Spinning® facility as well as an IBBFA-approved studio, the standard in barre excellence.

What is Barre?

Barre is a low-impact, ballet-inspired workout that uses small, controlled movements, isometric holds, and high repetitions. This helps you develop long, lean, and sculpted muscles while improving your balance, posture, and flexibility. Barre is a great workout for any age of fitness level!

NO! You don't need any ballet or barre experience to be able to do this class. Beginners are always welcome and supported at On Pointe Barre.
